Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m very particular about who touches my C63S, and MB Automotive has completely earned my trust. From day one, Erol, Mike, and Joe have been nothing but professional, transparent, and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to thoroughly explain everything in detail — what’s going on, why it’s happening, and what the best solution is. There’s no pressure, no guessing, and no unnecessary upselling. Just real expertise and honest work. What separates them from other shops is their integrity. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in doing things the right way. They’re highly educated across all types of vehicles, especially performance cars, and it shows in both their workmanship and communication. It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, honesty, and customer care at this level. If you value your vehicle and want it handled by people who truly know what they’re doing, MB Automotive is the place. Hands down, 5-star service every time!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike is the best Volvo mechanic I’ve ever been to - and he’s not the first Volvo specialist I’ve had my Volvo’s serviced by. He really knows his stuff, he knows how to handle complex issues and was able to help me with an oil consumption issue my SUV has in a way that no one else has been able to - and has saved me an immense amount of money in the process! Can’t recommend his shop enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been taking my 2005 V70R to Mike for 7 years when the car had only 70k miles. It now has 250k and has never run better! Mike has been a reliable, honest mechanic for my Volvo in a world where many garages claim to know Volvo's but don't really. Mike breaths Volvo's and is very quick to solve any issue. I also trusted Mike with a few choice V70R performance upgrades which came out great, enhanced the performance while making the car more enjoyable to drive. Once I knew Mike was an honest & talented mechanic, I didn't hesitate to bring my other vehicles to him as well - 2006 Land Cruiser & 2019 V90R. He always did a great job on those as well. Overall I would recommend MB Automotive to anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The only shop I trust with my BMW since the specialize with European cars. They do reliable work and most importantly they are trustworthy. They’ve gone out of their way to limit costs for me or outright not charge me for things multiple times, just because it was in the best interest of the car for them to do so. These guys love cars and love their clients

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike and the boys over at MB have always gotten me right! They're efficient and always quick to return my car. If you have a Volvo or any car for that matter that needs some maintenance done, just take it over to Mike to save the trouble of finding a reliable mechanic.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve been bringing our 2008 Volvo C70 to Mike at MB Automotive for the past two years and he’s the only one we trust with it. He’s fixed everything from suspension and timing chain to brakes, overheating issues, and regular oil changes. Prices are always fair, the service is great, and Mike makes the whole process easy. Highly recommend!

What types of auto repairs do Smithtown drivers commonly need?

Smithtown drivers often visit MB Automotive for issues related to daily commuting, changing weather conditions, and Long Island road conditions. Common repairs include brake service, suspension repairs, check engine light diagnostics, oil leaks, cooling system issues, and scheduled maintenance for European vehicles.

Driving regularly on roads like Jericho Turnpike, Route 347, and Veterans Memorial Highway can contribute to increased brake wear, suspension stress, and general vehicle wear over time.

Does stop-and-go traffic in Smithtown affect my vehicle?

Yes. Frequent braking in busy areas around Smithtown can accelerate brake pad and rotor wear. Daily commuting, school traffic, and congestion along major roads can also place additional strain on suspension components and cooling systems.

MB Automotive helps identify these issues early through detailed inspections and professional diagnostics before minor problems become larger repairs.

How do Long Island winters affect vehicles in Smithtown?

Cold temperatures, road salt, and winter driving conditions can contribute to corrosion and wear on important vehicle components. Smithtown drivers may notice issues with brakes, batteries, exhaust systems, and suspension parts after repeated exposure to winter conditions.

Regular inspections help identify corrosion, fluid issues, and worn components before they affect vehicle reliability.

Why do Smithtown drivers choose an independent European repair shop instead of the dealership?

Many Smithtown drivers prefer an independent specialist because they receive personalized service, transparent recommendations, and experienced technicians who focus on European vehicles. At MB Automotive, we use genuine OEM parts whenever required and provide dealership-quality workmanship without the impersonal dealership experience.

Can you diagnose warning lights and complex vehicle problems?

Absolutely. Our ASE-certified technicians use advanced diagnostic equipment to check engine lights, electrical faults, performance concerns, suspension issues, and other complex mechanical problems. We explain our findings clearly before recommending any repairs, so you know exactly what your vehicle needs.
